Immediately: Credentialing staff must update all new practitioner applications and existing provider roster updates to include telehealth service availability (YES for telehealth+in-person, YES for telehealth only, or NO for no telehealth). Add this information in the Telehealth section, notes, comment field, or Transaction Type column A of the Active Physicians Listing Report. Providers must ensure HIPAA compliance for telehealth platforms and document patient consent and telehealth choice in medical records.
