Summary
Participating Physician Groups (PPGs) and hospitals contracted with Health Net/CalViva Health for Medi-Cal in Fresno, Kings, and Madera counties must now submit an annual list of their contracted ground emergency medical transportation (GEMT) providers. This list helps identify non-contracted GEMT providers for automated payments under the quality assurance fee program.
Action Required
By March 31, 2025 (and annually thereafter): PPGs and hospitals with Health Net/CalViva Health contracts must compile and submit a list to their Provider Relations & Contracting Specialist including: provider name, provider type (PPG or Hospital), risk type (Dual or Global), GEMT provider name, and GEMT National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
