Summary

Action Required
Immediately: Update patient transportation referral processes to use Access2Care (844-515-6876) for all Wellcare Medicare members requiring transportation services. Front desk staff must provide members with Access2Care contact cards and inform them to call 48 hours in advance for scheduled transportation. Participating physician groups with financial risk for standard transportation must arrange services through their contracted providers or face capitation payment deductions.
