Summary
Health Net is transitioning prior authorization for cardiovascular and ENT procedures from Health Net to TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions starting January 1, 2022. Virtual training sessions are being offered in December 2021 to help providers learn the new submission process for PPO, Flex Net and EPO plans.
Action Required
By December 16, 2021: Clinical staff (MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, RNs) should register for and attend TurningPoint virtual training sessions for cardiovascular and/or ENT procedures. Choose from multiple session dates between December 7-16, 2021. Beginning December 15, 2021: Start submitting prior authorization requests for cardiovascular and ENT procedures to TurningPoint instead of Health Net for PPO, Flex Net and EPO plans. Update billing workflows to reflect new PA submission process and turnaround times.
