Summary
Effective September 1, 2022, all new Medi-Cal providers must have completed DHCS PAVE certification before joining CalViva Health's Medi-Cal network. The previous 120-day provisional period for new providers has been eliminated, and existing providers without proper certification may be terminated from the network.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers must verify they have completed DHCS PAVE certification and are active in DHCS monthly enrollment files. New providers cannot join Medi-Cal network without proof of Medi-Cal FFS certification.
