Summary
Due to a CMS processing error, Wellcare by Health Net did not receive capitation payments for January and February 2023, which affected payments to participating physician groups and hospitals. CMS has resolved the issue and will make retroactive payments, with March 2023 capitation payments (including the missing January and February payments) to be distributed around March 12th.

By March 12, 2023: Billing and finance teams should monitor for receipt of March capitation payment which will include retroactive January and February 2023 payments.
