Summary
Emergency Remote Services (ERS) have been added as a required service under the Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) program, allowing temporary provision of services in alternative settings during public or personal emergencies. CBAS providers must obtain CDA approval to provide ERS and submit a CBAS ERS Initiation Form within three days of starting ERS.
Action Required
Within three days of starting ERS: CBAS providers must complete the CBAS ERS Initiation Form (CEIF) and fax to Health Net's CBAS Department at 833-581-5908. Do not attach other CBAS requests to the CEIF - fax separately. If ERS extends into a new assessment period and member cannot attend in-center reassessment, fax discharge summary to the Plan indicating unmet needs.
