Summary
Medi-Cal providers delivering in-home services (home health, personal care, therapy, infusion services, etc.) must register with the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system before submitting claims. Claims will not be processed without proper EVV registration and compliance.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers delivering in-home services (home health, personal care, physical/occupational/speech therapy, infusion services, day habilitation, respite services, CBAS-ERS) must register with CalEVV system at DHCS Electronic Visit Verification Phase II portal. Complete the CalEVV Provider Self-Registration Form and follow EVV guidelines for all qualifying visits. Failure to register and comply will result in claim denials and non-payment.
