Immediately: Hospital staff must implement new post-stabilization authorization workflow by calling Health Net's Hospital Notification Unit at 800-995-7890 option 1 when patients are stabilized after emergency services but need continued care. Requests must clearly state patient is stabilized, include clinical information and provider contact number. Document all requests with date, time, provider name/contact, and Health Net representative response. Note that general admission notifications do NOT satisfy this requirement.
