Starting January 1, 2024, Health Net will directly administer behavioral health services instead of using MHN as their behavioral health administrator for specific California counties. Providers must now call Health Net directly at 844-966-0298 for all behavioral health referrals and services.
Action Required
Starting January 1, 2024: Staff must call Health Net at 844-966-0298 (instead of MHN) for all behavioral health referrals for members in Amador, Calaveras, Imperial, Inyo, Mono, and Tuolumne counties. Update referral protocols and contact lists. Watch for new member ID cards that no longer reference MHN.
