Summary
Health Net is encouraging hospitals to participate in upcoming Honor Roll programs including the 2024 Opioid Care Honor Roll (application period January 1 - March 31, 2024), a new Sepsis Care Honor Roll launching in 2024, and a new Leapfrog diabetes care recognition program. This policy provides information about assessment tools and deadlines for these quality improvement initiatives.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: Hospital quality improvement teams should complete and submit the Opioid Management Hospital Self-Assessment to Cal Hospital Compare to be eligible for the 2024 Opioid Care Honor Roll. By January 15, 2024: Hospitals that submitted to the 2023 Leapfrog Hospital Survey should submit applications for the new diabetes care recognition program. Review Fall 2023 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade results and assess performance metrics for hospital-acquired infections (CAUTI, CLABSI, C. diff, SSI-colon, MRSA).
