Summary
Health Net behavioral health services have transitioned from MHN to Health Net of California effective January 1, 2024. Billing teams must update claim submission addresses and payer IDs based on date of service and line of business, with different addresses required for services before and after January 1, 2024.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update claim submission addresses and payer IDs for all behavioral health services based on date of service. For services on/after Jan 1, 2024: Use new Health Net addresses and payer IDs (68069 for IFP/Medicare, 95567 for Commercial, 22771 for Medi-Cal). For services before Jan 1, 2024: Continue using MHN addresses with payer ID 22771. Split claims with overlapping dates across year-end into separate submissions. Register for Health Net provider portal account for eligibility checks and claims status. Update billing software with new addresses and payer ID mapping rules.
