Summary
Providers must now regularly verify their eligibility status on multiple exclusion lists including OIG LEIE, SIPL, RPD, CMS Preclusion List, and FEHBP to avoid termination from various insurance programs. New access to exclusion lists is available through the Health Net provider portal effective January 1, 2024.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers must establish monthly verification process to check their status on OIG LEIE, SIPL, RPD, CMS Preclusion List, and FEHBP exclusion lists through Health Net provider portal. Billing team must log into provider portal > Provider Reports > Go To Healthnet.com > Working with Health Net tab > Regulatory > Medicare Information to access lists. Implement 12-month claims look-back review for any identified excluded providers. Failure to verify eligibility regularly will result in termination from insurance programs.
