Immediately: Billing team must switch from Change Healthcare to alternative electronic claims submission methods - preferably enroll with Availity clearinghouse by calling 800-AVAILITY (800-282-4548) or visiting their portal. Set up ACH/EFT with PaySpan (877-331-7154) to avoid payment delays for Ambetter and Individual Medicare Advantage claims. Be prepared to re-submit medical records to new vendors (Datavant/Datafied) for chart retrieval requests previously sent to Change Healthcare.
