Action needed
Before July 1, 2024: All providers delivering babies to Medi-Cal members must complete the required online training at 'Overview of Children's Presumptive Eligibility (CPE) and Newborn Gateway Presumptive Eligibility (NGPE)' webinar. After training completion, use the CPE Newborn Gateway Portal to report all births within 72 hours after birth or 24 hours after discharge, whichever is sooner. Contact Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley at 833-236-4141 with questions. Failure to complete training will prevent participation in the program.
