Summary
The Child Health and Disability Program (CHDP) is being phased out on June 30, 2024, and transitioning to other Medi-Cal delivery systems. The CHDP Gateway will be rebranded as Children's Presumptive Eligibility (CPE) Portal, and Health Net will now provide training previously offered through CHDP.
Action Required
By June 30, 2024: Providers active in CHDP must complete CPE computer-based training on the Medi-Cal Learning Portal to maintain access to the rebranded portal. Complete training at Overview of Children's Presumptive Eligibility (CPE) and Newborn Gateway Presumptive Eligibility (NGPE). Providers cannot access or submit CPE transactions until training is successfully completed. Update provider manuals and operations guides after July 1, 2024.
