Summary
The Child Health and Disability Program (CHDP) is ending June 30, 2024, transitioning to other Medi-Cal delivery systems. The CHDP Gateway portal is being renamed to Children's Presumptive Eligibility (CPE) Portal, and provider training responsibilities are transferring to Health Net.
Action Required
By June 30, 2024: Active CHDP providers must complete and pass the CPE computer-based training on the Medi-Cal Learning Portal to access the new CPE Portal. Providers cannot submit CPE transactions until training is completed. Billing team should verify provider completion and update portal access credentials for the rebranded CPE Portal after July 1, 2024.
