Summary
Starting January 20, 2025, Health Net will partner with Availity Essentials to offer select provider portal services including eligibility verification, claims submission and tracking, and authorizations. Providers can choose to use Availity Essentials or continue using Health Net's existing portal.
Action Required
Before January 20, 2025: Billing team should determine if they want to use Availity Essentials for Health Net transactions. If choosing Availity: designate an administrator with legal authority to register the organization, have administrator go to Availity Essentials registration page and complete setup, and ensure all billing staff who need access are added by the administrator. If already registered with Availity for other payers, use existing credentials for Health Net starting January 20th. No action required if choosing to continue with current Health Net portal.
