Summary
California Assembly Bill 1070 allows physicians to supervise up to 8 physician assistants (instead of the usual 4) when PAs are limited to performing in-home health evaluations and annual wellness visits that don't involve direct treatment or prescribing. When adding PAs to Health Net networks for this purpose, include 'In-home health visit only' in communications.
