Summary
Georgia Medicaid providers who have not completed their required five-year enrollment revalidation must do so by July 1, 2026, or face automatic suspension from all Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids programs. Suspended providers cannot bill for services with dates of service on or after July 1, 2026, and all claims will be denied. Providers can check their revalidation status on the GAMMIS website and must submit revalidation applications before the deadline to avoid termination.
Action Required
By July 1, 2026: (1) Billing team must verify the practice's Georgia Medicaid provider revalidation status by visiting www.mmis.georgia.gov, selecting 'Provider Information' > 'Reports for Public Access' > 'Provider Revalidation Past Due by Provider Type.' (2) If the practice appears on the past-due list, submit revalidation application immediately to DCH through GAMMIS. (3) Update billing system compliance tracking to flag any Georgia Medicaid claims with service dates on or after July 1, 2026, if revalidation is not completed—these claims will be denied. (4) If suspension occurs, do not submit claims for Traditional Fee-for-Service Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids, Georgia Families, Georgia Families 360, Amerigroup, CareSource, or Peach State Health Plan members until revalidation is approved. (5) Note that retro-enrollment is not applicable; effective date of re-enrollment will be the revalidation application submission date.
