Health Net California has expanded notification requirements for Participating Provider Groups (PPGs) and hospitals, requiring immediate notification to Health Net when any network termination is planned or anticipated, including partial, non-renewal, constructive, novation and assignment-related terminations. Action Required
Before January 1, 2026: If your practice is a PPG or hospital contracted with Health Net California, establish procedures to notify your assigned Provider Network Management contact immediately when any network termination is planned or anticipated. Include termination notice, effective date, continuity of care approach, impacted members, and scope of termination. Failure to provide timely notification will result in corrective action and impact delegation status.
