Summary
Connecticut Medicaid is expanding over-the-counter (OTC) medication coverage for individuals 21 and older, effective December 1, 2015. By December 1, 2015: Pharmacy and billing teams should access the new OTC Expansion Coverage List at www.ctdssmap.com under Pharmacy Information → Pharmacy Program Publications to identify newly covered OTC medications for Connecticut Medicaid members 21 and older. Update billing systems to reflect expanded coverage for eligible medications.
