CHNCT is transitioning their radiology prior authorization program from Care to Care LLC to eviCore healthcare, effective January 1, 2017. Educational webinars are being offered in December 2016 to help providers understand the new prior authorization submission methods and requirements for radiology procedures.
Action Required
By December 22, 2016: Providers and billing staff should attend one of the offered webinars (December 8, 15, 20, or 22) to learn eviCore's prior authorization submission methods and requirements for radiology procedures. Review provider bulletin 2016-70 for additional transition information. Update workflow processes for radiology prior authorizations to comply with eviCore's new requirements before January 1, 2017.
