Connecticut Medicaid will post interim rates for new CPT codes in the 2017 Ambulatory Surgical Center fee schedule starting January 1, 2017. Claims with new codes will be mass adjusted later when final Medicare rates are available.

By January 1, 2017: Freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center billing teams must monitor for interim rate postings for new CPT codes on the Connecticut Medicaid fee schedule. Submit claims with new codes as usual - they will be automatically mass adjusted when final Medicare rates are obtained. Watch for Department notification when updated fee schedule is posted.
