Summary
Connecticut Medicaid is updating fee schedules for ambulatory surgical centers, dialysis clinics, and behavioral health clinics effective January 1, 2017. New HCPCS codes J0884 (argatroban for dialysis) and J1942 (aripiprazole injection) are being added with manual pricing based on AWP-16.5%, and providers must include NDC codes when billing these drugs.
Action Required
By January 1, 2017: Billing teams at ambulatory surgical centers, dialysis clinics, and behavioral health clinics must download updated fee schedules from www.ctdssmap.com and replace existing schedules. For new codes J0884 and J1942, ensure NDC codes are included when submitting claims to HPE as these will be manually priced at AWP-16.5%.
