Summary
The implementation date for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for skilled Home Health services has been postponed from February 1, 2017 to April 1, 2017. Non-skilled agencies that implemented EVV on January 1, 2017 are not affected by this change.
Action Required
By April 1, 2017: Home health agencies providing skilled services must implement the EVV (Santrax) system for visit verification and billing. Agencies should begin setup well before the deadline including staff configuration, client activation, and schedule creation.
