Summary
Connecticut Birth to Three providers must enroll in the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program as provider type 12 with specialty 583 to continue billing for services after July 1, 2017. Claims will no longer be submitted through the Office of Early Childhood.
Action Required
By July 1, 2017: Birth to Three providers must complete online enrollment at www.ctdssmap.com as provider type 12 'Special Services' with specialty 583 'Birth to Three Billing Provider'. Enrollment should begin April 1, 2017 as the process takes up to 4 weeks. Providers cannot bill or receive payment for services on or after July 1, 2017 until enrollment is finalized.
