For patients 65+ or Medicare recipients, direct them to www.Connect.ct.gov and advise them to call 1-855-626-6632 to request expedited processing. Billing team should accept proof of coverage letters as payment guarantee for 30 days and follow Provider Bulletins 2014-15 and 2014-29 for temporary client ID procedures.
