Summary
Starting July 1, 2017, Home Health providers using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Personal Care Assistant, Acquired Brain Injury, or Connecticut Home Care waiver clients must enter Medicare denial/ABN information into the Santrax system before exporting claims. Training sessions are available June 7-8, 2017 with limited registration of two employees per agency.
Action Required
By June 8, 2017: Home Health providers must register up to 2 staff members for ABN training sessions (June 7 or 8) to learn new Santrax system requirements. By July 1, 2017: Begin entering Medicare denial/ABN information into Santrax system prior to exporting claims for PCA, ABI, or CHC waiver clients. Failure to enter ABN data will affect claim processing.
