Summary
Effective June 19, 2017, all EVV mandated or optional services performed by Connecticut Home Care, Personal Care Assistance, and Acquired Brain Injury waiver providers must enter at least one task per visit in the Santrax system for claims to be exported for processing. Visits without tasks will receive error messages and be placed on hold, preventing claim submission.
Action Required
Immediately: All caregivers providing CHC, PCA, and ABI waiver services must enter at least one task for each visit in the Santrax EVV system before check-out. For consecutive visits using the 3-call process, tasks must be entered at each visit transition. Billing team must verify all visits have tasks entered to prevent 'task exception' errors that will block claim export to DXC Technology for processing.
