Summary
Connecticut has implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for home health and non-medical service agencies serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients. Claims for EVV-mandated services must be submitted through the EVV system or they will be denied with EOB code 0630.
Action Required
Connecticut providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients must: 1) Complete mandatory EVV training through the Learning Management System, 2) Set up staff in the Santrax system using only last 5 digits of SSN (format: 000-05-XXXX), 3) Submit all EVV-mandated service claims through the EVV system - claims not submitted via EVV will deny with EOB code 0630.
