Connecticut Medicaid has implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home health and non-medical services, requiring providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients to use the EVV system for billing mandatory services. Claims for EVV-mandated services not submitted through the EVV system will be denied with EOB code 0630.

Immediately: Connecticut providers serving Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Connecticut Home Care (CHC), and Personal Care Services (PCA) waiver clients must enroll in and use the Santrax EVV system for all EVV-mandated services. Complete mandatory EVV training through the Learning Management System to receive Welcome Kit. Update billing workflows to submit claims only through the EVV system. Claims not submitted via EVV will be denied with EOB code 0630 and will not be reimbursed until resubmitted through EVV.
