Immediately: Hospital billing teams must ensure NDC codes match the correct HCPCS codes when billing physician-administered drugs (J, S, Q series) for revenue center codes 250, 253, 258-259, and 634-637. Use Provider Drug Search tool at www.ctdssmap.com to verify correct NDC-to-HCPCS associations. Update ICD-10 diagnosis codes using AMA ICD-10-CM 2018 book for dates of service October 1, 2017 and forward. Prepare for potential claim suspensions with EOB codes 0693 or 0920 during October 24 system update - these will auto-reprocess once grouper is updated.
