Summary

Immediately: Hospital billing teams should monitor the November 17, 2017 claim cycle for release of previously suspended inpatient DRG claims that had EOB codes 0693 'Invalid Principal Diagnosis' or 0920 '3M Grouper Error'. Update DRG calculator to version effective October 1, 2017 available on Hospital Modernization webpage. For claims with overlapping service dates around October 1, 2017 using new ICD-10 surgical codes, wait for system fix from DXC Technology before resubmitting denied claims with EOB code 4067.
