Summary
Providers offering Autism Waiver Services must enroll specifically as an Autism Waiver Service Provider in the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program (CMAP) to continue receiving payment for these services. Enrollment under any other provider type will not allow billing or payment for Autism Waiver services.

Before January 1, 2018: Providers currently billing for Autism Waiver services must enroll specifically as an Autism Waiver Service Provider in CMAP. Billing team should verify provider enrollment status and access training materials at www.ctdssmap.com. Failure to enroll under the correct provider type will result in no payment for Autism Waiver services.
