Summary
Connecticut is launching a Pay for Performance (P4P) program for obstetric care under HUSKY Health (Medicaid) effective July 1, 2018. Eligible providers can earn additional payments on top of regular fees by meeting specific performance measures for prenatal and postpartum care, but must enroll in the program and complete online notification forms to be eligible.
Action Required
By July 31, 2019: OB/GYN providers and other eligible obstetric providers must enroll in the P4P program through the HUSKY Health provider portal at http://www.huskyhealthct.org/providers.html. Complete 2018 P4P registration form and submit all required online obstetric notification forms within specified timeframes (prenatal within 14 days of first visit, postpartum within 14 days of postpartum visit) to receive additional P4P payments.
