Summary
Starting May 16, 2018, claims for specific Early Intervention/Birth to Three procedure codes (T1023, T1027, T1028, T2024, H2014) must include the practitioner's valid 9-digit EIN or they will be denied. Additionally, a new CSV format for Remittance Advice reports is now available through the provider portal.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must ensure all claims for codes T1023, T1027, T1028, T2024, and H2014 include the practitioner's complete 9-digit EIN (pad shorter EINs with leading zeros). Update billing system validation rules to prevent submission without EIN. Access new CSV remittance advice format at www.ctdssmap.com under Trade Files > Downloads for easier claim tracking.
