Connecticut has implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for Medicaid home health and non-medical service providers, requiring the use of EVV for mandated waiver services including Acquired Brain Injury, Connecticut Home Care, and Personal Care Services. Providers can now submit EVV claims through multiple methods including the Santrax system, their own billing systems, or the secure portal.
Action Required
Immediately: Connecticut Medicaid providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients must use the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for all mandated services. Complete mandatory EVV training through the Learning Management System to receive Welcome Kit. Set up staff in Santrax system using only last 5 digits of SSN (format: 000-05-XXXX).
