Summary
Connecticut has fully implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Medicaid home health and non-medical services, requiring providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients to use EVV for mandated services and claim submission. Providers can now submit EVV claims through multiple methods including their own billing systems or the secure portal, with new denial codes for claims submitted outside the Santrax system.

Connecticut Medicaid providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients must: 1) Complete mandatory EVV training to receive Welcome Kit, 2) Use EVV system (Santrax) for all mandated services and claim export, 3) Ensure all staff are properly set up in Santrax using only last 5 digits of SSN, 4) Submit claims through approved methods (Santrax, own billing system, or ctdssmap.com portal) with proper visit validation.
