Summary
Connecticut has implemented Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Medicaid waiver services including Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Connecticut Home Care (CHC), and Personal Care Services (PCA). Providers must use the Santrax system or alternate billing methods to submit EVV-validated claims for home health and non-medical services.
Action Required
Connecticut providers serving ABI, CHC, and PCA waiver clients must: 1) Complete mandatory EVV training through the Learning Management System to receive Welcome Kit, 2) Set up staff in Santrax system using only last 5 digits of SSN (format: 000-05-6789), 3) Use EVV system for all mandated services and export claims through Santrax or alternate billing system, 4) Contact ctevv@dxc.com for missing clients or PA issues, and Sandata Customer Care (1-855-399-8050) for system issues. Claims without proper EVV validation will be denied.
