Summary
Connecticut's Promoting Interoperability Program now accepts Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQM) as an optional alternative to manual CQM attestation for Program Year 2018. Providers can submit 6 eCQMs electronically using QRDA Category I or III formats instead of manual reporting.
Action Required
By December 1, 2018 (30 days before reporting deadline): Connecticut providers participating in the Promoting Interoperability Program who want to submit eCQMs must email Dr. Minakshi Tikoo at Minakshi.Tikoo@ct.gov to request secure FTP credentials. EHR must be certified to 2014 or 2015 Edition with all 16 available CQMs. Work with CT DSS staff to test electronic submission process which can take 1 week to 1 month. This is optional - providers can continue manual attestation if preferred.
