Summary

Connecticut Medicaid requires all in-state ambulance providers to submit Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and registration expiration dates for their fleet through the CMAP web portal. Failure to provide current VIN information will result in dis-enrollment from Medicaid and claims processing suspension.

By March 1, 2019: Ambulance providers must log into the CMAP secure web portal at www.ctdssmap.com, access the 'Maintain Vehicle Information' panel under demographic maintenance, and enter VIN and vehicle registration expiration dates for all ambulances in their fleet. Maintain current vehicle registrations with Connecticut DMV. Failure to provide current VINs will result in Medicaid dis-enrollment and claims processing suspension.
