Anthem has launched new self-service features in Availity Essentials for out-of-network providers in Ohio, including a streamlined registration process for out-of-network provider registration. Action Required
By mid-April 2026: Out-of-network providers should register with Anthem through Availity Essentials to access new self-service options. Billing team should ensure organization administrators have access to the Provider Enrollment and Network Management feature at https://Availity.com and can manage user roles through the My Account Dashboard. Failure to register may delay single case agreements and service authorizations, but does not affect current claims processing for already-credentialed out-of-network providers.
