Train staff on the 14-day temporary supply option (using all 9's in PA field NCPDP 462-EV and numeric '1' in NCPDP 461-EU) and 5-day emergency supply process. Update billing procedures to use DAW codes 5 or 9 for preferred brand medications instead of DAW 1 unless medically necessary documentation exists.
