Connecticut Medicaid is changing the AVRS phone menu option #6 from Behavioral Health to Client ID Mismatch assistance effective July 22, 2019. Providers experiencing client verification discrepancies should now use option #6 when calling the Provider Assistance Center.

Train billing and front desk staff to use option #6 when calling 1-800-842-8440 for client verification discrepancies, and ensure they have the Eligibility Verification number ready when calling.
