Summary
Connecticut Medicaid has updated their Pharmacy Web Prior Authorization system to include opioid prior authorization requests in addition to existing PA types. Prescribing providers can now submit and track all pharmacy PA requests, including opioids, through the secure web portal at ctdssmap.com.

Update workflows to use web portal for all pharmacy PA requests including opioids, PDL drugs, and step therapy requirements. Train staff on new opioid PA submission process through the web portal.
