Summary
MAPIR (Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program) will begin accepting attestations for Program Year 2019 starting January 1, 2020. Eligible Medicaid providers who previously participated in Meaningful Use must submit new attestations through the updated system.
Action Required
By January 1, 2020: Eligible providers (NPs, MDs, Dentists, CNMs, PAs) practicing in FQHCs with 30% Medicaid patient volume must submit new MAPIR attestations through the updated system. Billing team should identify eligible providers, verify they have 2015 Edition CEHRT, and assist with attestation submission via DXC MAPIR login.
