Providers must use appropriate modifiers (GT for facility-based, 95 for home-based) and POS 02 for billing.

Immediately: Update billing system to allow telemedicine billing for listed PT/OT/SLP codes with modifiers GT (facility-based) or 95 (home-based) and POS 02 for Connecticut Medicaid patients. Train staff that evaluations, reevaluations, and group therapy are NOT eligible for telemedicine. Document medical necessity for all telemedicine services. Do not submit claims if telehealth service cannot be completed due to technical issues.
