Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) temporarily expanded telemedicine coverage for School Based Child Health programs during COVID-19 emergency, allowing 8 specific procedure codes to be billed via telemedicine with appropriate modifiers. Update billing system to require appropriate telemedicine modifiers. Maintain documentation to substantiate telehealth services provided. Do not submit claims if telehealth service cannot be completed due to technical difficulties.
