Summary
Connecticut Medicaid is temporarily adding Meals on Wheels and shelf-stable meal delivery services to multiple home and community-based waivers (PCA, ABI, CHC, Mental Health) with new billing codes and modified provider enrollment requirements as part of COVID-19 emergency response. New procedure codes are available for billing meal delivery services.
Action Required
Connecticut providers serving waiver participants only: If planning to provide meal delivery services under PCA, ABI, CHC, or Mental Health waivers, enroll as billing providers at www.ctdssmap.com and obtain prior authorization in care plan portal before billing new meal service codes. Community First Choice providers must enroll directly with Allied Community Resources.
